Estimated Era: Early to mid 1900s

A French antique creamy white ceramic tile with a pretty pattern depicting a bird and bamboo tree in tasteful shades of both brown and green. This highly decorative tile was probably once part of a trivet or even on a wall so there are traces of glue to the rear and out of sight.

There's a maker's mark to the rear for Longwy France.

This tile will make a lovely trivet or stand-alone piece of decor to lean on a tabletop or against a wall.

Note: my plate stand is not included in sale.

Condition: used vintage/antique condition with age-related wear such as a small nibble in the pattern of the tree, wonderful old crazing, and a small hair to the top right corner which is nothing to detract from this wonderful old tile; to the rear and out of sight are traces of glue .
