1. About These Terms

By placing an order with Old Cat Vintage — through our website or our Etsy shop — you agree to the terms below.

We've written these as clearly as we can, in the same voice we use everywhere else. Because trust, for us, begins long before the package arrives.

2. Pricing & Payment

Our prices are listed in EUR for European customers, and in USD for customers in the United States. At checkout, your local currency equivalent may be displayed for reference — but the final charge is processed in the currency shown on your order confirmation.

Payments are processed securely via Shopify Payments or other available methods at checkout. For orders placed through our Etsy shop, payment is handled by Etsy Payments.

3. Vintage Condition & Honest Description

Every item in our shop is vintage — which means it has lived a life before arriving in yours.

We describe each piece as carefully and honestly as we can: what we know of its history, visible signs of wear, and anything that might affect use. Where we're uncertain, we say so. Photos are taken to reflect true condition, including close-up details of any significant marks or traces.

4. Shipping

We ship worldwide from France. Estimated delivery times once dispatched:

• –Europe: 5–10 business days
• –USA / Canada: 10–20 business days
• –Asia & Rest of World: 14–25 business days

Tracking information is provided as soon as your order has been sent. Delays caused by customs processing, postal services, or circumstances beyond our control can occasionally extend these times — we appreciate your patience, and we'll always do our best to assist.

5. Customs, Duties & Import Fees

International shipments — particularly outside the EU — may be subject to customs duties or import taxes upon arrival in your country. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in our prices or shipping fees.

We are unable to predict exact charges, as they vary by country and shipment value. If you have concerns, we recommend checking with your local customs office before placing your order.

6. Order Cancellations

We understand that decisions sometimes change. Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase, provided the order has not yet been dispatched. Please reach out to us as soon as possible at vnow2233@gmail.com.

Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled — but our return policy may apply depending on the situation.

8. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. A few clear photographs of the damage and the packaging will help us understand what happened and respond quickly. Depending on the situation, we'll offer a replacement (if available), a partial refund, or a full refund.

For shipments that appear to be lost in transit, we ask for a little patience while we open an inquiry with the carrier. Lost package claims can typically be initiated after 21 business days from the dispatch date.

9. Our Liability

Old Cat Vintage's liability is limited to the purchase price of the item(s) in question. We are not responsible for indirect losses or delays beyond this scope.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of France and, where applicable, the European Union — without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. A Note on These Policies

We're a small operation — one person, sourcing in the French countryside, shipping carefully packed parcels to people who appreciate things made to last. These terms exist to protect both of us, and to make sure there are no surprises.
