Description: A French antique ironstone pot by Creil et Montereau with wonderful time-worn tea-staining, and as you can see from the photos the lid is still almost white - at first I thought it didn't go with the pot, then noticed the pattern matched - this could be one of several reasons for this such as the pot being used as a vase (the lid having being stored away in a cupboard), or perhaps the lid was a replacement at some point. This lovely old pot could be used as stand-alone decor, a storage pot, or remove the lid and use it as a vase.

Please see dimensions and read condition details listed below.

Condition: used shabby chic antique condition with the expected age-related wear such as lots of crazing and tea-staining to the pot - the lid is still mainly white as described above. There are some nibbles on the edge of the pot's opening and a couple of old hair inside the pot (see photo). As photos are part of descriptions, please view all the photos carefully for a more detailed look before deciding to make your purchase.
