A beautiful French art nouveau decorative antique biscuit tin box with floral decoration with wonderful detailing such as the patterned handle clasps (see photo). As you can see there is a label under the lid which tells us this old box once stored gingerbread from Dijon, France. Please see dimensions and condition details listed below.
Condition: good used vintage/antique condition with the expected age-related wear such as scratches and chips off of the pattern showing silver colored tin underneath (see photo). The knob of the lid rotates although it is completely secure - to assure it stays that way I would suggest opening the box using the corners of the lid instead of the knob (due to the age of this piece).
