A stunning little original oil painting of a young French woman in colourful and fashionable 1920s period dress. The art has been painted in a loose fashion on a stretched canvas and signed 'Paulette'. To the rear is some writing which is hard to make out although the date 1926 is clear (see photos). Condition: used shabby chic vintage/antique condition with lots of age-related wear, areas of lost paint where the canvas is showing through (see photos), some tiny holes (most of which are only visible when held up to the light - as most old art pieces are on old canvases), frayed edges of the canvas (see photos).
