Description: A beautiful French antique ironstone pitcher and bowl set by premier manufacturer, Sarreguemines. This particular example has a wonderful blue floral ironstone pattern. These jug and bowl sets are becoming harder to find these days, especially in this condition. Being an antique item (circa. late 1800s to early 1900s) there are some small imperfections, although nothing to detract from this item's beauty - please read condition details below and view all the photos.
Condition: good used antique condition with the expected age-related wear such as some wonderful old crazing and some tea-staining inside and on the exterior of jug/pitcher and bowl, a tiny dark nibble on the handle of the pitcher (see photos) and a small hair on the upper spout of the pitcher (see photos); the bowl has the odd little nibbles with loss of glaze to the exterior (see photos), although nothing to detract from this beautiful antique piece; inside the bowl is a small scratch (see photos).
