A beautiful French antique jug/pitcher, once used to pour water in a bowl for washing yourself, these days wonderful home decor - many people use them as bathroom decor.
This particular piece is in a lovely shade of off-white/cream with a dark blue transfer pattern - a very stylish and eye-catching piece of ironstone.
Underneath you will find the maker's mark (see photos).
This piece is late 1800s/early 1900s.
