A stunning and extremely large French antique ironstone jug once used for washing - these days it will make fabulous interior decor!
The colour is an off white white with a delicate pink floral pattern. This piece is very heavy so you imagine when it was once filled with water - a strong arm must have been needed to lift it for sure.
This lovely old jug has no maker's mark but we know it's from Grand Depot E Bourgeois, Paris as there was a large wash basin/bowl with it that was marked (wash basin/bowl not included in sale as it's far too large and heavy although on request we can share it with you).
Condition: good used antique with age-related wear such as crazing and a slither chip/loss of glaze from the handle which is really nothing on a piece of this age (see all the photos and ask if you're not sure about anything).
