A rare find indeed with this antique English ceramic compote/footed dish by Minton.
The Minton maker's stamp underneath dates put this piece in the 1863-1872 period - it became Mintons (with an 's') after that date. Research, using info on the maker's stamp (which is difficult to make out), tells us it was manufactured approx. 19th Sept 1871.
