A large French vintage/antique decorative white earthenware/ironstone indoor planter with lion heads and 4 lion paw feet, a rare piece (I have never seen another in all my years as a dealer).

When I saw this grand-looking planter at a fair I just had to have it - it just has 'the look' - a fabulous piece with lots of old chips exposing the stoneware beneath, so shabby chic and so perfect for rustic, country and farmhouse inspired interiors!

Maker's mark underneath (see photos).

Note this is a heavy item which will need an extra strong box and plenty of wrapping materials to assure it reaches its new home in good order, therefore the shipping is more expensive.

Condition: used, solid vintage/antique with age-related wear, staining, a couple of old cracks, and lots of old chips exposing the stoneware beneath which give it that authentic shabby chic appearance, and making it suitable for those who appreciate the worn, shabby appearance.
